At Hino Butuan, we believe that even the simplest actions can create meaningful change. On March 28, 2026, we joined the Toyota Cagayan de Oro Group of Companies in observing the global Earth Hour initiative through a one-hour power shutdown from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
For that hour, we turned off our lights and paused operations—not just as a routine activity, but as a shared commitment to something bigger than ourselves. It was a quiet yet powerful reminder that protecting the environment starts with small, intentional steps.
Earth Hour is more than just switching off lights. It’s about raising awareness of climate change, encouraging energy conservation, and inspiring people and organizations to work together for a more sustainable future. Being part of this global movement allowed us to reflect on our role in caring for the environment and the impact we can make as a team.
Moments like this remind us that change doesn’t always have to be grand. Sometimes, it begins with a single hour spent choosing to act, to be mindful, and to stand for something that benefits everyone.

Five years ago, we opened our doors in Butuan City with a single mission: to serve with integrity, reliability, and heart. Yesterday, November 26, 2024, we celebrated a meaningful milestone: Hino Butuan’s 5th Anniversary.
The day began with a heartfelt Thanksgiving Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Anthony Booc, OAD, setting the tone for a day filled with reflection and gratitude. It was a quiet yet powerful reminder of how far we’ve come and how much we’ve grown, thanks to the trust and support of our customers, partners, and team members.
Following the Mass, we held a blessing of our offices, asking for continued guidance and grace in the years to come. It was a special moment to pause, give thanks, and look ahead with hope.
This celebration wasn’t just about marking a date—it was about honoring the relationships and dedication that got us here. At Hino Butuan, every vehicle we deliver, every customer we assist, and every challenge we overcome is part of a bigger journey—one built on service.
