Job Summary:
The Service Advisor for Hino Butuan acts as the bridge between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for assessing customer service needs, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring that all vehicle service and repair jobs are carried out efficiently and to the customer’s satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a background in automotive studies, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers professionally and assess their vehicle service and repair needs.
- Listen actively to customer concerns and document service requests accurately.
- Provide accurate service estimates and explain maintenance procedures and recommended repairs.
- Service Coordination:
- Coordinate with technicians to determine the required service or repairs.
- Schedule appointments and ensure efficient workflow in the service department.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing repairs and provide regular updates to customers.
- Customer Service and Retention:
- Ensure a smooth and satisfactory service experience for all customers.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business.
- Technical and Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a working knowledge of Hino truck models, systems, and common service needs.
- Stay informed about manufacturer service bulletins and product updates.
- Advise customers on preventive maintenance and care for their vehicles.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain service records, job orders, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all service -related paperwork.
- Report service trends, customer feedback, and operational issues to management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of any 4-year Automotive-Related Course.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferably with a valid driver’s license (minimum 4-wheels).
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
- Willing to undergo training to enhance technical and customer service capabilities.
- Prior experience in service advisory or automotive service roles is an advantage.
